The difference in size between the two sets of curved panels suggested a plane with wings and a tail. The round 1x1 and orange studs mounted on the hinge brick remined me of spaceship engines. The challenge was pulling these elements together and keeping them connected given the relatively few suitable remaining parts.

The cockpit proved to be the part that needed the most thought to achieve something I could live with.
